84% of revenue from exports: what that actually requires
JNP ships to 30+ countries from Casablanca port. What European, American and Gulf buyers require, and how those requirements differ.
By 2012, JNP already generated 84% of its turnover from exports. That figure is not a strategic objective. It reflects a simple reality: the Moroccan domestic market absorbs a small fraction of what the plant produces.
Europe first
France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK. These are our oldest and most consistent markets. European buyers verify certifications, request CoAs and can conduct factory audits. It takes time to set up initially, but once established the relationship holds.
What they prioritise: organic traceability and consistent physico-chemical characteristics from batch to batch. A Brix that varies by 2 degrees between orders is a real problem for a manufacturer calibrating its own recipes.
Gulf and the US
The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain frequently require Kosher or Halal certification on top of organic. That is a separate process, and it justified our Kosher certification in 2024.
In the US, FDA registration and USDA NOP were prerequisites. Without them, shipments get held at customs. Now that they are in order, we can respond to American tenders.
Logistics from Casablanca
NFC juices ship in refrigerated containers. Concentrates and aseptic products go in standard containers. Casablanca port reaches Europe in 3 to 5 days, the Gulf in 10 to 14 days, and the US East Coast in 15 to 20 days.
