200 kg drums, GOOD PACK 1,500 kg: JNP packaging formats explained

Back to news

From 5 kg to 1,500 kg, no preservatives, 18 to 24 months shelf life. How aseptic packaging works and which format fits which volume.

Aseptic packaging works in three steps: pasteurise the juice, fill a sterile container in a clean room, seal it. Result: 18 to 24 months shelf life with no preservatives and no cold chain.

In practice it requires equipment, discipline and controls at every step. Not every producer gets it right.

Available formats

JNP packages in three format ranges:

  • Aseptic bags 5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg. For small volumes, R&D testing and specialty products.
  • Aseptic drums 190 to 250 kg. The standard format for container shipments. Most clients work with 200 kg drums.
  • GOOD PACK 1,200 kg and 1,500 kg. A flexible aseptic bag inside a reusable pallet cage. For large volumes, especially concentrates.

What we check before shipping

Every batch goes through two checks. First biological: sterile packaging, clean product. Then chemical: Brix, pH, acidity, conformity to specs.

Every shipment includes a CoA and a CoO. Clients can also request raw lab data.

Ambient or refrigerated?

NFC juices keep their aroma and flavour better under refrigeration after opening. Before opening, an aseptic drum can travel at ambient temperature. That is the point: it simplifies logistics for the buyer.
